Why training the ‘beach muscles’ matters.

If you’ve ever set foot in a gym and thrown a bit of ‘tin’ around, you’ll know what I’m talking about here. Training ‘chest and guns’ (for the guys), or butt and thighs (for the girls) matters. Why? Because it makes you feel good. There’s something about a t-shirt that sits a little tighter across the chest, or a pair of jeans that fit a little more snug that keeps you coming back time and again for more.

And so the important question is: what are your ‘chest and guns’? What do you do that makes you feel good in the moment, regardless of the long term outcome?

If you don’t know, keep a close eye out til you find them. Write them down, then prioritise them into your schedule. It’s important.
