Vicki began teaching for the swim school in 2013, since then she has been trained across all of our levels. When she’s not in the pool teaching babies through to teenagers, Vicki can be found at the gym, helping out with her oldest daughter’s water polo training, or at home with her three daughters.

Vicki is one of our most sought after teachers, and teaches Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Q: Tell us something interesting about yourself.

A: I have three beautiful daughters and I have an enormous degree of gratitude for the life I have today.

Q: What’s your favourite thing about working at the AUT Millennium swim school?

A: Having the opportunity to have a positive impact on young people’s lives. I love children, and teaching them to swim, is only part of what I love about my job. I enjoy the bond that can develop with my wee swimmers, and the fact that I can make a difference in their lives by believing in them and helping them become the best they can be.

Q: If you were a brand, what would be your motto?

A: “Anything is possible”

Q: What is your perfect pizza?

A: Anything with chicken and camembert on it.

Q: If you could wake up tomorrow in anyone else’s body, whose body and what would you do?

A: Mine, but 15kg lighter. I would look after it and maintain it as I know now after 3 kids, how hard it is to get your body back! I’m on the road to my weight loss journey…watch this space.

Q: If you could be any character in fiction, whom would you be?

A: Claire Fraser, from Outlander.

Q: If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be?

A: Breathing underwater

Q: If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see play the lead role as you?

A: Drew Barrymore
